I will update my review once I finish a full play-thtough, but at this point I like the story and the fact that the game gives you lots of choices to make early on. This helps draw you in and make you feel more a part of the story that the writer is trying to tell.Definitely seems worth the price tag of $2.99 USD, especially considering you could replay the game and make different choices to perhaps see different results. This game gets my thumbs up recommendation if you enjoy reading and/or virtual novels.. What an interesting take on the game book style of reading. It reminds me of the Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone Final Fantasy books in the 80s/90s. Great story, about 3 hours long, but I would say that it was more Science Fiction based than horror. I liked how you can read one chapter at a time and continue later on. The only thing I would say is that the final chapter is a lot longer than the other chapters.I look forward to the next release. Well done.. Indeed interesting but note this. Do have 3 hours of free time. You can't save.I wish I will get up tomorrow for work god damn it. Good game.. I really enjoyed the game overall but I was suprised that the game didn't have achievements. Your choices have zero to no effect on the plot. And the tiny effects that they do have, are so tiny that they only effect the next 5 min of the story. The plot is pre-set, your choices wont have any major effect. Also the end is dull and lacking, its like "you chose to "something"" -The Endbasically the end is like you reach the end of a book, and end up finding out that there is a second part to it, that you dont have and cant buy as it was never released.Avoid, nothing intesting in this one. Buried is a solid interactive story game with interesting visuals and wonderful audio. The characters are interesting, if a little bland at times, and occassionally your choices don't change anything, but I'd still recommend the game to anyone who likes this particular style! It's not a very long game, depending on how fast you read. It took me about two hours to complete it twice (granted, the second time was faster because I didn't need to read everything).. Great if you like reading reading and then some reading! Myself i like to play games. Would i reccomend this? No id rather watch my close family been mauled to death by a pair of bengal tigers whilst listening to tom jones greatest hits. Hope that helps :(
